As a Business Development Intern at Edmaaj, your responsibilities will include:

  • Support in proposal writing, including identifying key criteria in clients’ Terms of Reference (ToR) and ensuring offers match these requirements.
  • Support in the development of methodologies for strategic business development.
  • Support in report writing, including conducting context research and drafting report introductions.
  • Proofreading and editing, including the revision of translated documents.

You will be supervised by Edmaaj’s Strategy and Business Development Lead.

What we Offer

  • A 6-month internship in our office in Amman. The internship is unpaid; a stipend of 150 JD per month is provided for expenses such as transport.

  • On-going or completed bachelor’s degree in Communication, Business Administration, Social Sciences, International Relations, or relevant field within the scope of Edmaaj.
  • Interest in the Middle East socio-political and development context.
  • Cultural sensitivity and adaptable communication skills.
  • Excellent research and writing skills.
  • Time management, adaptability, and attention to detail.
  • Proficient English (either native speaker, having completed university studies in English, or providing a C2 English certificate or equivalent).
  • Knowledge of MS Office, specifically Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Previous experience or internship in the field of international development is a plus.
  • Previous professional experience in other fields will be considered.
  • Master’s Degree is a plus, especially in relevant fields within the scope of Edmaaj.
  • Arabic is a plus.
